Ingredients

  • 1 lb fettuccine pasta
  • 4 tbsp Violife Plant Butter
  • 8 peeled garlic clove minced
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 cups Violife Just Like Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 tbsps salt
  • 1 tsp ground mace
  • 1 cup Violife 100% Vegan Just Like Grated Parmesan Violife Just Like Grated Parmesan
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 cup parsley chopped
  • Parmesan cheese for dusting

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add 1 lb of fettuccine pasta.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, melt 4 tablespoons of Violife Plant Butter in a wide sauté pan. Once the Plant Butter is melted, add the minced garlic to the pan and sauté on medium-high heat until golden brown and fragrant.
  3. Add 1⁄2 cup of white wine and reduce the sauce until totally dry.
  4. Add 2 cups of Violife Just Like Heavy Whipping Cream to the pan along with 1 tablespoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of ground mace. Stir until the sauce is reduced by half.
  5. After 8 minutes, take the pasta out of the boiling water and reserve 1⁄2 cup of pasta water. Add the cooked pasta to the saucepan.
  6. Add 1 cup of grated Violife Just Like Grated Parmesan and 1 teaspoon black pepper to the pan. Cook in the sauce for an additional minute, tossing frequently and slowly adding pasta water as needed for consistency.
  7. Taste for seasoning and add 1 cup of finely chopped parsley.
  8. Divide into four bowls, add Violife Just Like Grated Parmesan to taste, and enjoy!
